Matt Mark news

Te Whare Ruruhau o Meri Trust Board has welcomed Matthew Mark as its newest Trustee.

A kaupapa Māori social service provider, Te Whare provides whānau with a range of skills to support the wellbeing and long-term health of whānau, especially those affected by family and sexual violence.

Board Chair, Natalie Vincent says Matt is a people-centred leader with experience across governance, housing, health, and community-led systems change.
“He brings a strong blend of commercial acumen and social impact practice, grounded in a commitment to community wellbeing and partnerships.”
Currently Chief Executive of Te Wawata Kāinga, Matt works alongside individuals and whānau to support safe, stable housing and connected communities, guided by manaakitanga and whanaungatanga.
He says, “Secure housing is foundational to dignity, wellbeing, and long-term flourishing of whānau and as a trustee of Te Whare Ruruhau o Meri, I am honoured to support kaimahi as they also walk along whānau and lead the restoration of whānau wellbeing.”
