Programme Facilitator | Kaiarahi
We're looking for a Programme facilitator (Kaiarahi) to join our team delivering tikanga based social interventions and solutions.
The successful applicant will be responsible for the delivery of the Tāne Group Progammes and the Non Violence Programme, supporting whānau who have been referred to Te Whare Ruruhau o Meri through the Ministry of Justice or Department of Corrections.
This is a part time role (24 hours per week) based in Tamaki Makaurau working closely with whānau, ensuring they are well supported and to assist them to access other specialist support agencies.
The duties and tasks include completing client assessments, and providing individual sessions to ensure interventions are responsive to individuals and whānau from a kaupapa Māori worldview.

Conduct assessments for participants referred by Department of Corrections, Ministry of Justice and Ministry of Social Development

Facilitate tāne Non-Violence programmes

Empower participants to develop skills for respectful relationships and community involvement

Contribute to reducing family harm incidents and enhancing community safety
We're looking for:

A relevant qualification in social work, counselling, or mental health (or equivalent knowledge, skills and experience).

Strong networking and communication skills.

Knowledge of or willingness to learn Kaupapa Māori approaches and Tikanga Māori.

Corporate Services Assistant
We're looking for someone with demonstrated experience in design and/or social media marketing, including development of copy, tools and content for internal engagement and external campaigns to support our Corporate Services Manager .
You'll be helping to implement our organisation’s marketing, stakeholder engagement and fundraising plans and will take the lead for the development and delivery of an online digital programme, marketing campaigns, creating engaging content to promote Te Whare services. The role also supports various administrative and office functions to maintain an efficient and welcoming workplace environment.
What you’ll bring

Ideally, you’ll have studied Media Arts, Marketing and/or Communication

Demonstrated experience managing social media platforms, analysis and reporting tools, data and research, knowledge of working with AI
-
Strong writing skills – a mix of formal, creative, te reo Māori
-
A commitment to delivering a high level of customer service with a ‘can do’ attitude and a high level of organisation and attention to detail
